Misty is an experienced hair stylist and makeup artist,  running her own salon for the past few years.  After spending 22 years in the hospitality industry, Misty found herself furloughed and eventually laid off due to the decline in travel.  While she thrived on long standing relationships with her clients, she felt it was time to make a change and follow her heart into the beauty industry.  She quickly enrolled in a local Cosmetology school to follow her lifelong passion for hair and cosmetics. She was licensed within 9 months and already had gained a loyal clientele through her ability to gain trust and connect with clients on a deeper level. 

During her time behind the chair, she noticed the increase of clients experiencing hair loss from Covid-19, Androgenic Alopecia, cancer treatments, thyroid issues, postpartum, etc.  Hair is one of the first things that people notice and is known as one of the most defining attributes, as well as the most coveted by both men and women.  Never having high density or thick hair herself, she could relate to the loss of identity for these clients.  As a daily wig wearer, she realized how important it was to share her journey with her clients.  Her excitement grew and she started educating others about the alternative hair option of synthetic wigs.  Misty had found her purpose and it was clear that she wanted to help others feel beautiful and give them back the confidence they once had.
